Since Dr. Ronald Paul filed for a Presidential Exploratory Committee (near bottom of page) last week, I decided that now would be a good time to start getting the word out for him. Every couple days or so, I will post a new reason why Ron Paul should not only get the GOP vote for President come primaries, but everyone's vote.
Reason #1:
He voted against four (all) unneeded and wasteful farm spending and appropriations bills in 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2002.
Farm spending, appropriation and subsidy bills waste tens and in many cases 100's of billions of dollars taken from taxpayers every year. These bills either farmers to not farm specific crops and animals thereby inflating the cost of agricultural products by artificially lowering the available supply, or they artificially lower the cost of goods, creating nigh impossible barriers to entry preventing lower-cost goods from reaching your doorstep or grocery store (I don't know how you get your greens!). Either way, your hard-earned money would pay for these not-farmed-or-artificially-cheap goods.
